Because of my great admiration for true Crafts I have decided to share this with as many people as possible. We are very fortunate that some of these Crafts are still living and thriving in our community, and I think it is our duty to pass them on.

I have met some really good Craftspeople and have invited them to Durn Hill Farm to run courses.
 
 
 
Basket Making Course
 22-23 May 2010
£70 plus £5 per basket for materials
Teacher: Tim Palmer

May is a fantastic time to make something useful! In this basket making course we can work both indoors, and outdoors in our garden. We have six to eight places on this course and, depending on skill level, you will be able to finish at least one basket, if not two. Bring your own lunch and we shall provide you with teas, coffees, biscuits and fruit.

This year I am participating in NEOS. Please look out for the catalogs. I have invited two other artists, Jenny Mathias from Jewel, and Alison Simpson, a sculptor, to exhibit in my studio. I am sure this is going to be an interesting event, so please put the dates in your calender and come for a visit!
